Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Governor revealed his status on his verified Twitter handle on Monday.

Makinde has named Prof Temitope Alonge, former Chief Medical Director of the University College, Ibadan, to head the state’s COVID-19 Task Force pending his recovery.
