THE BIOGRAPHY OF DOKIN KARFE Elias Paul popularly known by his stage name Dokin Karfe is a Nigerian-arewa (hausa) rapper,singer , songwriter and a phenomenal music producer of The Divine Touch Media, whose early years began in the confines of Biu local government in Borno state.
Born on the 13th September, Dokin Karfe is the first of four children of the family of Evangelist Abdul-salaam. Evangelist Abdul-salaam who was among the first converts in the locality of Biu is an exact replica of his name “servant of peace” . He has taken the gospel to a wide range of places with The straightway Gospel Mission and still hasn’t relented.
The rapper began his music career with his first single “Sosojin yesu” released on the 16th of July 2016 with update to a second, titled “Blame” and in 2018 released his debut album “It’s our fault” produced and mastered by magicsteez in a CD format with over Two thousand copies sold.
Dokin karfe is also a video editor, a drummer and a professional keyboardist who has been playing the keyboard for 15 years now. He holds a NCE certificate from the college of education, Bukuru in plateau state. Also an undergraduate of social studies education in the University of Jos.
He has gone on to say that his music influences has been from a lot of rappers who have been in the music industry before him , especially the likes of Lecrae, BOC, Classiq, and DJ Ab. Dokin Karfe has performed in places like Adamawa, Abuja, Kaduna and Borno state.
When Dokin Karfe is not making music, he is either found in the gym, reading or going on an Evangelical ministration with the straightway Gospel mission, the rapper gives his all in what he does ,so him making hit songs can’t come as a surprise. His rap lines got punches, well that’s a punchline, Dokin Karfe resides in Jos with his family.
