The Polytechnic, Ibadan Extends 2020/2021 Application Form; Students’ Union Affirms.

The Polytechnic, Ibadan has extended the application for entry into full-time National Diploma and Higher National Diploma for the 2020/2021 session. This was shared with Press Council’s correspondent during a conversation with the SUG President, Comrade Fadare Blesssing.

This development comes as a result of; adverse effects of COVID-19 on the academic sector; Online portal issues that affects certain number of students; pending ND results, NASU strike which has delayed clearance and certain registrations.

It was recalled that the sale of form commenced September, 2020 but was further extended till January, 30th 2021 due to the agitation of the students’ leaders.

However, Press Council reached out to one of the management staff who pleaded anonymity, “ the sale of form will be extended but a new date for the closure will be subsequently announced”.
